Taer are the bestial white fur covered ape-men that inhabit Beedo's Thule Archipelago, and according to his encounter tables, are more bountiful further north in the glaciers.
I've wanted to comment on this since you posted it. That blood-curdling look in this guy's eye has haunted me for the last few days. Creepy! And so believable!
